JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:

We are hiring an Online Personal Assistant to work directly with the business owner in the utility setup industry. Your main responsibility will be to contact new residents who are moving into their homes and help them set up their electricity and other essential utility services before they move in.

The clients you contact have already been added to our system — they may not be expecting your call, but you’ll be introducing yourself professionally and letting them know you’re simply assisting them with their utility setup so they can avoid the hassle of doing it on their own.

This is a remote, long-term position for someone dependable, responsive, and professional.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Call new move-in leads from the list provided each morning and evening.
    •    Introduce yourself and explain you’re calling to assist with electricity and other utility services for their new address.
    •    Follow a simple call script (provided) to verify details, confirm move-in dates, and help complete setup requests.
    •    Take accurate notes and update our tracking sheet or CRM after each call.
    •    Be on standby and available throughout the day (9 AM – 7 PM CST) in case new leads come in that need to be called immediately.
    •    Respond quickly to messages, instructions, or updates from the business owner during working hours.
    •    Maintain a friendly, confident, and professional tone on every call.
    •    Report any issues, call results, or lead updates by the end of each day.

Work Hours:
    •    Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM CST (U.S. Time)
    •    You will only be calling in the morning (around 9 AM–12 PM) and evening (around 4 PM–6 PM)
    •    You must remain on standby/on call during the day for new leads or follow-ups
    •    Must be on time every day — reliability and responsiveness are key

Requirements:
    •    Must have your own phone or VoIP app capable of calling and texting U.S. numbers (e.g., RingCentral, CloudSoftphone, Vonage, Nupphone, etc.)
    •    Must have a strong and stable internet connection
    •    Must have excellent spoken English with clear pronunciation
    •    Must be responsive and available during all assigned hours (no disappearing during work time)
    •    Must be able to follow directions closely and keep accurate records of calls
    •    Must be comfortable speaking with U.S. residents on the phone

Preferred Qualifications:
    •    Experience in sales calls, lead follow-up, or customer service (especially for U.S.-based clients)
    •    Strong communication skills and attention to detail
    •    Professional, friendly, and confident phone presence
    •    Consistent work ethic and ability to manage tasks independently
