Quantity Surveyor - CANADA

We are a Canadian Design-build company.

Your work: Material takeoffs from BIM models and drawings, cost estimating, and maintaining vendor pricing database for residential construction projects (3-15 unit buildings).

Must have:

US or Canada construction experience (AU is fine too)
Quantity surveying or construction estimating experience (2-4 years minimum)
Residential construction knowledge (wood-frame, concrete, low-rise preferred)
Excel proficiency (complex calculations, cost databases)
Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Extreme attention to detail
Clear written English

Preferred:

BIM software experience (Revit for takeoffs)
Vendor/supplier coordination experience

Work condition:

Full time AST 8am - 4pm
Stable high speed internet
Relevant software installed

Compensation:

1 month probation
Base $1200 CAD per month
Weekend off, one paid vacation day per month
Each quantity takeoff pay $50-100, expecting 5-8 per month
Top notch candidates can make $ ---------- per month

Building type (residential, commercial, etc.)
Your role (QS, estimator, cost consultant)
Building systems you estimated

Software & Tools:

List your proficiency in:
Takeoff software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Revit, other)
Excel capabilities
Any cost databases or estimating software

Construction Knowledge:

What residential construction methods are you most familiar with? (wood-frame, concrete, steel, etc.)

Schedule Confirmation:

Type "YES I CAN COMMIT" if you can work AST 8am-4pm full-time (approximately 8pm-4am Manila time)
