Position Overview
The Final Expense Appointment Setter is responsible for contacting prospective clients to schedule appointments for licensed insurance agents. This role focuses on reaching individuals who may benefit from state-regulated final expense programs designed to help families cover funeral and burial costs. The appointment setter serves as the first point of contact, providing a professional and compassionate introduction to the agency’s services.

Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to pre-qualified leads provided by the agency.
Introduce and briefly explain state-approved final expense insurance programs.
Verify basic information and determine the prospect’s interest level.
Schedule virtual, or phone appointments for licensed agents.
Maintain accurate and organized call logs and appointment details in the CRM system.
Follow up with interested leads who were unavailable or undecided.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly appointment-setting goals.
Maintain a positive and professional tone while representing the agency.
Qualifications
Previous experience in telemarketing, call center, or appointment setting (preferred but not required).
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Friendly, confident, and professional phone manner.
Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer proficiency (CRM systems, spreadsheets, dialing software).
Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule
Flexible hours: typically, Monday through Friday ( 9:30 AM USA Time to 7:00 PM USA Time and some Saturdays may be optional).
