About International Dance League
IDL is building the youth-to-pro ecosystem for competitive dance — the global platform where every dancer, team, studio, and event lives. Founded by the creators of STEEZY, IDL combines a professional league with a digital network to transform dance into a global sport. The IDL Pro League showcases elite teams on a world stage, while the IDL Network powers verified data, standardized infrastructure, and global participation.
Summary
The UX Designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience of the IDL Network — designing the core platform that connects dancers, studios, teams, and events. This role requires strong systems thinking, product intuition, and a passion for turning complex data and workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences. You’ll work closely with the founders to design products that unify culture and infrastructure across the global dance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design: Lead end-to-end UX design for IDL Network tools — including registration, judging, scoring, payouts, and studio/team dashboards.
- Information Architecture: Translate complex relational data (dancers, teams, studios, events, results) into clear, navigable experiences across web and mobile.
- User Research: Conduct interviews and usability tests with dancers, event organizers, and studios to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- Interaction & Visual Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate product intent and reinforce IDL’s visual language.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to iterate on design solutions and deliver features that align with business goals.
- Design Systems: Establish reusable design components and patterns that ensure consistency across the IDL product suite.
- User Advocacy: Champion simplicity, clarity, and accessibility for diverse user groups — from local youth studios to professional teams.

- Passion for design systems, user-centric thinking, and digital ecosystems.
- Interest in dance, sports, or global culture is a plus.
