We are a residential real estate team based in Greater Boston (Compass) seeking a Social Media Manager to support our online presence, grow community engagement, and collaborate closely with our team. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a supportive working environment—not just an outside contractor.
This role focuses on content planning, scheduling, engagement, and ongoing communication. You must be comfortable working with short-form video and managing a consistent posting calendar across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and maintain a consistent weekly/monthly content calendar.
- Manage and post across:
- Meta Business Suite
- Instagram

- Google My Business
- LinkedIn
- X
- Create and repurpose posts using Canva Pro and Compass brand templates.
- Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok/Stories).
- Communicate with our team via Slack and Google Meet to request/file needed content.
- Coordinate task flow and asset organization with our Executive Assistant in the Philippines, who has been with our team for 2 years.
- Maintain structured, labeled, and organized shared folders in Google Drive.
- Learn local towns and communities to create authentic, hyper-local content (we will train you).
- Monitor basic engagement and help maintain a positive presence.
- Track performance trends and recommend content improvements.
Tools & Systems You Will Use (Training Provided Where Needed):
- Canva Pro
- Meta Business Suite (required)
- Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Shared Folders (required)
- Slack + Google Meet
- Compass Marketing Center
- Social scheduling tool (Pally or similar)
Required Skills:
- Strong English communication (written & spoken)
- Proficiency with Meta Business Suite and multi-platform posting
- Short-form video editing proficiency
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Drive organization
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable collaborating in a remote team environment
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience in real estate, lifestyle, or community-focused social content
- Familiarity with New England tone and local feel
Hours & Compensation:
- ~10 hours per week
- $200/month starting
- Performance-based bonuses
- Annual review with potential for increased compensation and expanded responsibilities
