JOB OVERVIEW

Description
We're looking for a results-driven sales representative to sell top of the line Friesian Horses, Friesian Embryos & Transfers. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Knowledge of Friesian horses, the horse industry, or breeding is a plus, but is not required.
Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will possess a high level of initiative, discretion and independent judgment, and will be diligent, organized, and professional with a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task. Candidates should be flexible and detail oriented with a great attitude while ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Present, promote and sell Friesian horses using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Be willing to learn about the Friesian horse industry
• Buying a Friesian horse is an emotionally driven purchase: must be comfortable and successful in these types of sales situations
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Be comfortable working with high end clientele
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a sales representative
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• BS/BA degree or equivalent

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
This is a full time position;. Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS
Base pay + commission.
Potential for living on site.
