Databox Expert — Dashboard & KPI Builder

About Us
McIntire Kingstone is a Southern California–based real estate investment and management firm overseeing over 2,000 multifamily units and $1B+ in assets under management. We’re expanding our data intelligence capabilities and need a skilled Databox professional to help us build powerful, automated dashboards that connect key performance data across our platforms.


Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Databox builder who can design and implement data dashboards for our leadership and property management teams. You will be responsible for setting up a new Databox account, integrating multiple data sources, and visualizing metrics that drive business decisions across operations, finance, leasing, and marketing.


Key Responsibilities
• Set up and configure our new Databox workspace from scratch
• Build custom dashboards and KPI scorecards aligned with company objectives
• Integrate data from systems such as AppFolio, Google Sheets, Leasey.Ai, and Copper CRM
• Establish a data refresh workflow and documentation for internal team use
• Optimize dashboards for clarity, speed, and executive-level visibility
• Provide insights and recommendations on metric design and hierarchy

Qualifications
• Proven experience setting up and managing Databox for organizations (please share examples or screenshots of past work)
• Strong understanding of data visualization, KPIs, and performance management
• Experience connecting and automating data from multiple tools (AppFolio experience is a major plus)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and deliver high-quality results

Bonus Skills
• Familiarity with real estate or property management data
• Experience in Looker Studio, Power BI, or other BI tools
• Background in analytics automation or no-code integrations (e.g. Make, Zapier)

Compensation
• Hourly rate or project-based, depending on experience
• Potential for ongoing work as we expand reporting and automation systems
