We’re a fast-moving, collaborative team that takes pride in delivering great experiences for our clients. We’re currently looking for a QA WordPress Tester to ensure our WordPress and SaaS platforms deliver the highest quality user experience for our customers.
About the Role:
As a QA WordPress Tester, you’ll be responsible for testing and validating WordPress site builds, plugins, integrations, and workflows to ensure everything functions smoothly before client launch. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify, document, and track issues using QA tools.
The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a strong command of the English language, and a passion for delivering flawless digital experiences. You’ll not only test functionality — you’ll also review written content for grammar, spelling, and clarity to ensure every page meets Breadstack’s high-quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct manual and automated testing across WordPress sites and integrated SaaS products.
Validate functional, UI/UX, and performance aspects of web pages and plugins.
Review and correct grammar, spelling, and formatting issues in website content.
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases in QMetry.
Track, prioritize, and report issues using Jira, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
Collaborate with designers and developers to verify requirements and ensure optimal site performance.
Review site responsiveness, compatibility, and accessibility across different browsers and devices.
Perform regression testing before major releases or feature updates.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Exceptional command of the English language — able to identify grammatical, spelling, and stylistic errors with precision.
Strong understanding of WordPress, including plugins, themes, and admin management.
Proven experience in QA testing for websites or SaaS products.
Proficiency with Jira and QMetry for test and issue tracking.
Detail-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on quality.
Excellent communication skills — clear, concise, and professional.
Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools and workflows.
Organized, dependable, and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Available to work PST hours to align with our core team. 9am-5pm PST
Stable, high-speed internet connection.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Familiarity with web performance tools like Lighthouse or GTmetrix.
Knowledge of eCommerce plugins such as WooCommerce or Shopify integrations.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or PHP for debugging.
