About Me

My name is David F. Capps, and I create content focused on faith, marriage, self-development, and recovery — all centered on authenticity, grace, and real-life wisdom.

I am looking for a reliable VA who can take my recorded videos and turn them into clean, polished Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

This is a simple, structured role — no writing, no improvising, no guessing.

Your Role (Very Specific & Clear)

You will NOT:

write captions

write CTA’s

write scripts

write descriptions

write hashtags

add new text

rewrite or shorten my words


I provide ALL written text.
Your job is editing + posting.

Each video should take no more than 1 hour from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities

1. Edit the videos I provide

Add clean, simple subtitles that match my spoken words exactly

No rewriting

Add soft, inspirational background music

Add simple, subtle, professional visuals (nothing flashy or distracting)

2. Send the edited video to me for approval BEFORE posting

You NEVER post without approval

Make revisions if I request changes

Keep communication clear and professional

3. Post approved videos (1–5 per week)

Post on Instagram Reels OR YouTube Shorts

Post only between 5 PM – 8 PM U.S. Eastern Time

Copy/paste the exact caption I provide

Copy/paste the exact CTA

Copy/paste the exact hashtags

Pin the exact comment I provide

4. Light engagement

Heart/like positive comments

Drop emojis (??????????)

Reply with short positive responses

Notify me if any comment needs my personal response

5. Organize my content files

Upload final approved videos to Google Drive

Label files correctly

Keep folders neat and consistent

6. Voice-Over Posts (When I Don’t Film a Video)

On days when I don’t have time to record a personal video, I will provide:

a written caption

a theme

and an optional voice note


Your job will be to create a simple voice-over reel using:

my audio (if provided) OR

the caption text displayed as clean subtitles

subtle background visuals

soft music

and the exact caption/CTA/hashtags I provide


This workflow is the same as my regular videos —
you do not write anything; you only format and post exactly what I provide.

Hours & Schedule

3–5 hours per week

Usually 3–5 edited posts per week

Must be able to post between 5 PM – 8 PM EST

Hours may increase if it’s a good fit

Requirements

Strong English

Experience editing Reels/Shorts (CapCut, Canva, etc.)

Organized with Google Drive

Reliable communication

Comfortable with faith-based, inspirational content

Able to follow instructions exactly

Compensation

$4 USD/hour to start

Weekly pay

Long-term opportunity

Performance-based bonuses may be offered at my discretion for excellent work
