Full-Stack Web Developer

Monster Maps is an innovative marketing platform built for home service companies. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to help us enhance the Monster Maps web app—improving performance, expanding capabilities, and ensuring a best-in-class user experience.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the Monster Maps web application using React and JavaScript.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Deploy and manage backend services in an AWS Lambda environment.
• Optimize web performance, including load times, rendering, and browser efficiency.
• Work closely with design and product teams to implement clean, intuitive user interfaces.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across the platform.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and DevOps improvements.

Qualifications
• Full-stack web development experience, ideally within SaaS or product-based environments.
• Strong proficiency with React, JavaScript, Node.js, and RESTful API development.
• Experience deploying and scaling applications using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront).
• Experience with Google Firebase/Firestore, including real-time data sync and integration with web apps.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization and browser tuning (bundle optimization, lazy loading, caching strategies, etc.).
• Familiarity with authentication (OAuth, Cognito, JWT) and secure API design.
• Experience working in agile teams with Git-based workflows.
• Bonus: Experience with mapping or geolocation tools (Leaflet, Mapbox, Google Maps API).
