US Power is a fast-growing residential solar and clean-energy company based in California. We are building the next generation of home energy solutions — solar, batteries, smart grids, and AI-powered automation — to make clean power simple, affordable, and accessible.
We’re now taking the next leap: creating our own in-house AI Project Coordinator to help manage and optimize solar installations nationwide.

About the Role
We’re seeking a talented AI Engineer / AI Developer to help architect, orchestrate, and deploy an intelligent operations system — an AI that coordinates projects, monitors progress, and communicates with both customers and internal teams.
This AI will:
-Scrape and monitor project data across CRMs, spreadsheets, and partner portals (permits, interconnections, construction progress, etc.).
-Automate coordination and follow-ups, ensuring tasks like site surveys, roofing, and utility approvals move on schedule.
-Communicate proactively with customers, answering common questions and providing real-time updates on timelines.
-Integrate with scheduling tools, CRMs, and internal databases.
-Generate insights for management on project delays, bottlenecks, and performance metrics.

Ideal Candidate
You’re someone who’s passionate about and experienced in AI and automation — and not for the hype that surrounds AI, but for the value that it can realistically manifest. We need someone who doesn't vibe code mindlessly, does read all code, works to understand how decisions are made in the coding and building process, and asks questions. We want you to leverage AI to enhance decision making for growth and development, not to make you dumb by off-loading all the thinking and decision-making to an LLM.

Requirements:
-Strong experience in Python, AI/ML frameworks and libraries (OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar).
-Experience building or integrating chatbots, agents, MCP, RAG
-Familiarity with web scraping, data pipelines, and CRM integrations.
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-Experience with ClaudeCode, Cursor AI or other AI tools
-Experience with Github (and Github Actions), scripting, cloud workflows
-Experience building with LLM models outside of the big proprietary models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)

Nice to Have:
-Experience with AWS
-Passion for renewable energy, clean tech, or automation (a plus).
-Automation tools (especially n8n).
-AI orchestration
