Remote (UK business hours) | Front Row Furniture
Full-time | Reporting to: Director
Competitive Salary (based on skills & experience)
About Us:
Front Row Furniture is a trusted UK-based supplier of quality contract furniture for the events and hospitality industries. We’re known for being reliable, practical, and professional — supporting clients of all sizes, from small venues to large-scale event operators. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager who can take ownership of our sales process, strengthen customer relationships, and help streamline operations across the business. This is a chance to join a collaborative team where your work will have a direct impact on growth, efficiency, and customer experience.
The Role:
This is a hands-on, sales-first role where you’ll lead the front end of the business: managing the full sales and customer service cycle, increasing revenue, and ensuring clients always receive excellent service.
At the same time, you’ll coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and purchasing teams to make sure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. You’ll play a key part in improving how we work, spotting gaps or inefficiencies, and shaping the systems that allow us to grow.
If you enjoy balancing sales leadership with operational problem-solving, and you’re motivated by seeing the real results of your work, this role will suit you perfectly.
What You’ll Do:
*Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from first enquiry to delivery and after-sales support.
*Drive & increase revenue by monitoring performance, spotting opportunities, and supporting your team to hit targets.
*Oversee customer service, ensuring every interaction is positive, efficient, and professional.
*Work with the warehouse and purchasing to keep stock flowing and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
*Support with day-to-day e-commerce operations: product info, pricing, promotions, and communication.
*Help improve processes, introduce smarter tools, and align departments to achieve bigger goals.
What Success Looks Like:
*Sales targets consistently met or exceeded.
*Customers receive their orders quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.
*Stock availability is well managed with minimal disruptions.
*Teams work together smoothly, supported by clear processes.
*You become a trusted, go-to person for both sales results and operational improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
*3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, E-commerce, or Business Operations.
*Hands-on experience in sales and customer service — you’re confident leading by example.
*Good understanding of logistics, warehouse processes, or stock management.
*Strong organisational and analytical skills — comfortable with data, dashboards, and reporting.
*Collaborative mindset: you enjoy working across different teams and solving problems together.
*Reliable, proactive, and able to balance detail with the bigger picture.
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company.
*Proactive, driven, and action-oriented
*Holds teams accountable and leads by example
*Capable of raising standards and expectations across the sales team
*Strong at driving follow-ups, securing orders, and building customer confidence
*Confident communicator and effective speaker
*Intelligent and able to develop solid product knowledge
*Personable, with strong relationship-building skills
*Able to read between the lines and use sound judgement
*Skilled at spotting opportunities
*Not reliant on rigid, overly process-driven or BPO-style approaches
*Values human nuance over robotic, process-heavy methods
(Bonus if you’ve worked in e-commerce, events, furniture, or similar industries — but not highly required!)
Why Join Us?
*Make an impact: Your work will directly shape customer experience and company growth.
*Be part of a supportive team: Work closely with leadership and colleagues who value ideas and initiative.
*Room to grow: This is a role with responsibility, variety, and opportunities to expand as the business scales.
*Flexibility: Remote work during UK business hours.
