Healthcare Virtual Assistant (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare VA, you will be a vital part of our medical support team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Handling new patient and referral intake documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Managing appointment scheduling , including bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations for both patients and healthcare
providers.
• Assisting with insurance claims, verifying patient coverage, and addressing any billing concerns or documentation needs.
• Providing professional support by responding to patient inquiries and routing them to the appropriate healthcare
personnel.
• Supporting data analysis, generating reports, and maintaining updated healthcare records.
• Ensuring strict HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinating the distribution of medical records to relevant departments and providers as directed by the Managing
Physician.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a medical or pharmaceutical-related field is a plus—but not required if you have related healthcare or
data entry experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare support role or similar
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) – C1 level or higher
• Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices
• Proficient in EMR/EHR systems and able to troubleshoot common issues
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and tech-savvy
• Comfortable using tools like cloud storage, desktop sharing, VoIP systems, etc.

Technical Requirements:
• USB headset with noise cancellation
• Working webcam
• Primary & backup computer: Minimum 1.8 GHz processor with 4GB RAM
• Primary internet: At least 25 Mbps wired connection
• Backup internet: At least 10 Mbps

Salary Package (Including HMO):
• Entry Level (1–3 years of experience): Up to PHP 45,000
• Intermediate (3–5 years of experience): Up to PHP 55,000
• Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 75,000
