YouTube Video Editor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a talented and reliable video editor to join our new YouTube channel, which produces educational and entertaining videos that compare countries and explain global topics — for example, “Why is Switzerland so rich?” or “How did Singapore become successful?”

The channel is in German, and both the voiceover (audio track) and the script will be provided. If working with German audio is too challenging, we can alternatively provide an English version of the script to make the editing process easier.

Your main task will be to turn these voiceovers and scripts into visually engaging videos using stock footage, animations, and maps that bring the story to life and match the channel’s style.

Your task:

Edit engaging YouTube videos (around 8–12 minutes each), combining stock footage, animations, and maps to create visually compelling and informative content.

Requirements:

-Strong experience in video editing and post-production
-Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition for YouTube videos
-Basic understanding of English or German (scripts will be provided in English)
-Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines
-High level of creativity, precision, and attention to detail

Nice to have:

-Experience with faceless YouTube channels
-Access to stock footage or knowledge of free stock platforms (Pexels, Pixabay, Mixkit, etc.)
-Basic graphic design skills (e.g. thumbnails, captions)
