Junior Full Stack Developer (with DevOps)

We’re looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our tech-driven team and grow with us. This is a learning-focused role where you’ll assist in development and DevOps tasks while gaining real-world experience from senior developers.

Core Purpose:
Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of WordPress websites and applications helping ensure fast, secure, and reliable web experiences for our clients while learning full-stack and DevOps best practices.


Key Responsibilities:
Custom Development – Support building and extending WordPress themes and plugins (ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, Breakdance Builder).
Front-End Engineering – Implement responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript.
Back-End Engineering – Assist with PHP development, MySQL queries, and WordPress functions.
Testing & Debugging – Identify, report, and fix issues with guidance from senior developers.
Collaboration – Work closely with designers, PMs, and developers via GitHub and Asana.
DevOps / Server Management:
Learn to provision and manage Ubuntu droplets on DigitalOcean or RunCloud.
Assist in maintaining NGINX, PHP-FPM, SSL certificates, and system updates.
Support DNS configuration, backups, and deployment processes.
Help monitor uptime, error logs, and basic server health metrics.
Participate in improving performance (caching, compression, CDN)..


Required Skills & Tools:
Languages/Frameworks: PHP, JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, CSS3/Sass (basic to intermediate level).
WordPress: Custom themes/plugins, ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, Hooks/Filters, WP-CLI.
DevOps: Basic understanding of Ubuntu 20/22, NGINX, MySQL, SSL/TLS, DNS.
Version Control: Git + GitHub (commits, branches, pull requests).
Utilities: ManageWP, RunCloud, Asana (experience is a plus).
Soft Skills: Clear written & spoken English, eagerness to learn, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving.
