Electrical Engineer for Fire Alarm Design

Job Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a fire alarm designer (entry or experienced level). We are willing to train the right candidate. The Ideal candidate must be a fast learner who can quickly create practical drawings for city plan-check and prepare installation plans for our construction team.

Position Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• Design and layout of fire alarm systems using AutoCAD.
• Prepare material/equipment submittals and submit close-out packages.
• Responsible for ensuring designs are following NFPA 72 standards as well as ensuring delivery of quality service to the customer.
• Assist with miscellaneous project management tasks.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD design.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read construction plans is a must.
• Outstanding people skill and “can do” attitude
• Exceptional organizational skill
• Highly motivated, self-starter, open-minded, good learner.
