Who I Am
Howdy! I’m Riley Coyote, a filmmaker since the age of 12 now creating an independent action adventure tv show by himself, and now I need your help.

My world is full of travel, filmmaking, and the relentless pursuit of turning real life into emotionally impactful stories.

I’m looking for an editor in their 20s who shares my love for travel, adventure, and great storytelling. Someone who is chronically online and understands how to make people feel certain emotions such as nostalgia, fomo, curiosity and wonder through a 15 second instagram reel.

The Work

You’ll be my right-hand man to bring consistency to my short form content as we build toward the release of the show in 2026.

Your first mission is to learn the vibe of the Riley Coyote brand and create scroll-stopping short-form content from my massive library of adventure footage. This includes climbing Mt Fuji, visiting Texas, doing an Iron Man Triathlon, having a Muay Thai fight in Thailand and even Uber Eats deliveries to pay the bills.

Your tasks will include:
- Browsing and cataloguing existing footage to understand my story and style (i want us to become friends in this creative journey together because I believe if we can truly get a long and laugh together we will make great videos)
- Researching trending Reels, TikToks, and Shorts to find outlier ideas that fit our tone
- Editing 9:16 reels with a strong focus on conveying certain emotions (curiosity, wonder, spontaneity, fomo etc.)
- Adding captions and sound design where needed
- Experimenting, pitching ideas, and bringing your own creative energy to the table
- We’ll use a cloud-proxy service so you can access and browse footage easily, and I’ll deliver full-res clips for final exports when needed.

Growth Path
Start with short-form reels and, over time, grow into a long-form YouTube “movie” editor. If you make it through the trial period I will show you the first season of the TV Show. It is the coolest TV Show anyone has made ever in the history of anything ever! ahahha but seriously this show will be gigantic and you will be a key figure in editing season 2 eventually when we make enough money to film it.

Who You Are
- Male, ideally 20-29 years old
- Skilled in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro
- Experienced with Reels/TikTok/Shorts editing and social storytelling
- Interested in travel, filmmaking, and adventure culture
- Reliable communicator who can take initiative and banter like a teammate
- Comfortable learning by doing and figuring out systems as we grow
