Finance Assistant Ecommerce

We are a fast-growing e-commerce company scaling multiple 7- and 8-figure brands.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant who is detail-driven, organized, and obsessed with accuracy.

Your mission is to support our finance operations — keeping our books clean, our numbers accurate, and our CEO informed with clear, reliable financial data.

This is not a corporate role.

This is a fast-paced operator position inside a high-performance team.

Responsibilities:

Daily / Weekly
Track and categorize expenses (cards, bank accounts, payment processors)
Maintain spreadsheets for:
P&Ls
COGS allocation
Shipping & fulfillment expenses
Ad spend & CAC tracking
Merchant fees & refunds/chargebacks
Record supplier payments & invoices
Track cash flow & upcoming payment obligations
Maintain organized financial files & receipts

Monthly
Reconcile bank / Stripe / PayPal / Wise accounts
Update monthly P&L dashboard
Prepare financial reports for leadership
Flag anomalies or discrepancies


Systems
Build better tracking systems for cost control
Help standardize reporting templates & processes

Requirements
Experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Strong English communication
High attention to detail, zero-defect mentality
Trustworthy, reliable, and proactive
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills (Not required, but a big plus)
Experience with e-commerce financials (COGS, fulfilment fees, ad-spend tracking, CAC, refunds, LTV)

Experience using
QuickBooks / Xero
Shopify
Basic understanding of FP&A
Automation skills (Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Google Apps Scripts)
