About Us:
Evergreen Bookkeeping is a small bookkeeping firm seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is exceptionally proficient with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and can manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial organization with accuracy and efficiency.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is an accounting professional who knows QuickBooks Online inside and out—someone who can streamline our financial processes, maintain clean books, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll, and supporting accounts receivable and payable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks in QuickBooks Online

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts regularly

Upload, attach, and organize receipts and documentation within QBO

Accurately categorize all transactions in alignment with the chart of accounts

Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial activities

Prepare and process payroll (once trained or as needed)

Manage and track accounts receivable and accounts payable

Generate financial reports as requested by management

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (2+ years preferred)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with payroll, A/R, and A/P is a plus

CPA or bookkeeping certification is a plus but not required
