Medical Scribe & Coder

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Scribe & Coder to join our virtual team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, clinical documentation, and coding, with hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately document patient encounters in real-time during virtual or recorded consultations.
Review and code clinical notes using appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards.
Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and coding issues.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient health information.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical scribe and/or coder.
Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
