We are a furniture online store based in Melbourne, Australia. Our eCommerce store uses a WordPress with Woo-commerce platform. We would to hire an experienced graphic designer who thinks outside of the box, pro-active with new and fresh ideas, open and honest communication, reliable and on time delivery, attention to detail and accurate, able to work Melbourne time 9-5pm.

JOB DETAILS:
In this role you will create images and assets to promote content, add creative layer to existing assets & images to bring our store to life. You will also help out to create attractive images for advertising and email marketing purposes. You will treat images and photos to ensure they fall under our brand and editorial guidelines, create bespoke store branding for use in our online store and offline promotional materials. You will respond to and executing marketing and merchandising briefs, maintain our store design style and performance standards. To create advertising, emails and on site assets working with the entire site design.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- You have at least 3 years of commercial experience in graphic design for websites (preferably for e-commerce stores). Preferably >5 years.

- You are capable in developing fresh concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites, and can walk us through your previous experience where you have demonstrated these attributes.

- You are highly skilled in Adobe CS (Photoshop / Illustrator), including digital and print design experience. Experience in developing attractive banners for eCommerce (front end), external marketing, GIF animation, and social media will be highly regarded.

- You are efficient in your work, pro-active, highly organised, an excellent multi-tacker, and capable of working independently and within a team.

- You have excellent interpersonal skills, very good time management and organisational skills. You will also need to demonstrate high initiative, yet able to follow instructions and organisational procedures

- You are honest, trustworthy, committed, and reliable. We are a startup, where many things are still not in place. For this, we need someone who is going to take ownership of the time he/she will spend with us and truly make a difference and bring the best value to our business.

- You are motivated, driven and passionate about design. You volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked. As far as you're concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused, and nothing falls through the racks on your watch.

- Last but not least, you demonstrate high desire in learning (this is a huge important factor that we look for). You see yourself as a lifelong student and are passionate in growing your skills to keep up with the constant evolution in the design world.
