Virtual Assistant – Personal Assistant & Creative Content Support

Schedule: Flexible, with some overlap with U.S. Pacific Time

???? About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and creative Virtual Assistant (VA) to support both personal and professional projects. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating tasks, and assisting with creative work such as PowerPoint presentations, Canva designs, and social media or Etsy-related content.

You’ll be working closely with a U.S.-based optometrist and entrepreneur passionate about myopia education, children’s vision health, and creative business ventures.

???? Responsibilities

Personal & Administrative Support

- Manage calendars, appointments, and reminders
- Help with project tracking and task organization
- Coordinate communications and follow-ups

Creative Design & Content

- Build PowerPoint or Google Slide decks for professional presentations
- Design flyers, posters, and educational materials in Canva
- Assist with product listings, descriptions, and visuals for Etsy
- Help create engaging content for myopia education programs and online platforms

Research & Light Marketing Tasks

- Conduct simple online research and compile summaries
- Help organize content ideas and prepare drafts for review

???? Qualifications

- Reliable internet connection
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong skills with Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive communicator
- Bonus: Experience with Etsy, social media content planning, or healthcare/education fields
- Optional Plus: Able to speak or understand Mandarin or Cantonese
