Creative Design Assistant (Remote, Freelance)

She Is Made For More, a fast-growing women’s empowerment brand and coaching company founded by business mentor and speaker Cristal Jacobo, is looking for a Creative Design Assistant to support our personal and community brands with Canva graphics, light video editing, and simple design execution.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves designing, is eager to grow, and wants to be part of a brand that feels like family. Whether you’re just getting started or already have a few projects under your belt—experience is welcome, but not required.

Role Overview:

This is a part-time freelance role (remote, flexible hours) for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to something meaningful.

You’ll be responsible for helping bring our visuals to life through Canva designs and light video edits. You’ll receive clear creative direction and support on every project, we don’t expect you to know it all. We just ask that you show up with initiative, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

You’ll be supporting two aligned brands:

Cristal Jacobo (personal brand: business coaching, podcasting, speaking)

She Is Made For More (a global women’s empowerment community & movement)

???? What You’ll Do:

Design Instagram content (static graphics, carousels, and story slides) using Canva

Create banners, workbooks, event slides, and other visual brand materials

Support with light video editing (trimming Reels, adding text, basic effects)

Keep all designs aligned with brand colors, fonts, and templates (with guidance)

Collaborate through weekly task lists (up to 6 design projects per week)

Occasionally help with internal docs, presentation slides, or asset templates

? Weekly Expectations:

Up to 6 creative projects per week (split between both brands)

Flexible schedule with room to manage your own time

Estimated commitment: 15 hours per week

Some weeks are lighter or completely off (ex: post-event recovery weeks), but pay is not dependent on output volume. We believe in building a brand and a team that values both creativity and balance.

Starting Rate: $100/month (USD)

Opportunity for performance-based raises after 2 months

Year-end bonus based on consistency and contribution

Paid time off on slower weeks or holidays (no reduction in monthly pay)
