Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer (Thumbnails + Shorts + Audio)

Six Futures is a fast-growing finance/education YouTube brand. We’re hiring a full-time, Philippines-based post-production lead who owns the entire pipeline: editing long-form videos, designing high-CTR thumbnails, animating motion graphics, repurposing to Shorts/Reels, and polishing audio.

You will

Edit long-form (8–15 min): pacing, storytelling, b-roll, captions, light color.

Animate motion graphics: kinetic typography, charts/infographics, lower thirds, transitions, logo sting; build reusable AE/Premiere templates.

Design thumbnails (YouTube-first): concept ? composite ? export variants; run A/B tests with the Producer.

Own Shorts: cut hooks from long-form, add captions-on-beat, punchy sfx, end cards; publish-ready aspect ratios.

Audio post: VO cleanup, noise reduction, EQ/comp, mix to consistent loudness (YouTube LUFS), tasteful SFX/music.

File hygiene: organized projects, proxies, versioning, naming, export presets.

What success looks like (first 90 days)

Cadence: 1 long-form/week + 3–5 Shorts/week with on-time delivery.

A branded motion/thumbnail system that speeds production.

Baseline CTR ? 5–8% on thumbnails; strong first-30-sec retention.

Consistent audio loudness and clean mixes across all uploads.

Requirements

3+ yrs YouTube-style editing + motion design (portfolio/reel required).

Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (expressions/graph editor/MoGRTs).

Photoshop/Illustrator for thumbnails; bonus: DaVinci or Blender/C4D.

Strong sense of pacing, typography, composition, and hook framing.

Reliable hardware for AE renders; good English; 2–4 hr overlap with US Eastern.

Nice to have

Finance/tech curiosity; basic color correction; Frame.io or similar review tools.
