Job Opportunity: Part-Time / Full-Time Biller & Virtual Assistant
Location: Remote (supporting a California-based Psychiatric Practice)
Compensation: $400 – $900 (depending on experience and hours)
Time Zone: Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Astravant Psychiatry is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Biller & Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
• Billing & Insurance Support
o Handle billing processes and insurance claims
o Verify insurance coverage and conduct prior authorizations
o Work within EHR (Office Ally preferred) for billing accuracy
• Administrative & Clinical Support
o Medical scribing during patient sessions
o Manage inbound/outbound calls in a professional manner
o Handle scheduling and appointment coordination
o Manage patient emails and general communication
• Marketing & Outreach
o Assist with social media posting and engagement
o Support marketing campaigns for practice growth
• Technical & Platform Use
o Proficient use of Office Ally (EHR)
o Experience with telehealth platforms ( ---------- , Spruce)
o Google Workspace & Microsoft Office proficiency, Ooma Phone

Requirements:
• Education: Associate degree or higher (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred, especially in psychiatry or mental health settings
• Skills & Qualities:
o Proficient in written and spoken English
o Professional, positive attitude and reliable work ethic
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o Responsible, punctual, flexible and able to manage tasks across time zones
