Community Manager - Startup Founders Community (Part-Time)

We're a startup coaching and advisory firm helping growth-stage founders scale their companies through systematic operational excellence.

**The Opportunity:**
We're expanding our impact by launching a community platform where we'll share knowledge, content, and practical tools with a broader range of startup founders on a one-to-many basis.

**Your Mission:**
Build and grow our Heartbeat community (similar to Circle) into a thriving ecosystem for ambitious startup founders. You'll activate our existing network and create an engaged space that delivers genuine value while reflecting our expertise and thought leadership.

**What You'll Have to Work With:**
- **1,250+ contacts** on our Beehiiv mailing list
- Extensive LinkedIn network of startup founders and executives
- Additional leads from past events, Calendly invitations, and webinars
- Existing brand presence and thought leadership in the startup ecosystem
- You're not starting from zero — you're activating an existing audience

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Community Growth:** Invite and onboard members from contact lists, events, and past leads
- **Engagement:** Welcome new members, spark conversations, promote events and resources
- **Coordination:** Request content/events when needed, but don't create them yourself
- **Reporting:** Weekly updates on growth, engagement, and member sentiment
- **One-to-Many Focus:** Every activity must benefit the entire group (no 1-on-1 support)

**Requirements:**
- Strong written and verbal English
- **2+ years** managing online communities
- Experience with **startup founders, coaches, or course creator** communities
- Proven track record **reviving or growing** dormant/low-engagement communities
- Proactive communicator who takes initiative without detailed instructions
- Comfortable with async, distributed teams
- Familiar with community platforms: **Circle, Heartbeat** (very similar platforms), Slack, ----------

**Work Details:**
- Part-time, hourly position
- **Budget:** $6-8/hour ($1,100-1,500/month on full-time basis)
- Remote work (Philippines-based)
- 4× weekly team huddles (15 min each)
- Weekly review meeting
- High autonomy and flexible hours
