The Whatnot Manager will oversee the entire Whatnot selling experience — from planning live shows to managing inventory, handling customer communication, and maintaining exceptional ratings. You’ll ensure every show runs seamlessly, every viewer feels valued, and every sale contributes to a five-star brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Show Planning & Execution
Strategize, schedule, and host (or coordinate hosts for) regular Whatnot live shows.
Curate product lineups and plan themes that align with trending topics and TapeTox campaigns.
Prepare show scripts, visuals, pricing, and promotions.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure inventory is ready and accurately listed.
Customer Experience & Support
Manage real-time customer support during and after shows.
Respond to inquiries, resolve issues quickly, and follow up with customers to maintain satisfaction.
Track reviews and ratings, proactively addressing any negative feedback.
Implement systems that encourage positive post-sale reviews and repeat buyers.
Performance & Analytics
Monitor KPIs (conversion rate, viewer count, order volume, repeat purchase rate, and average rating).
Analyze data from Whatnot sales and identify areas for improvement.
Create weekly and monthly performance reports.
Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with the marketing team to align Whatnot promotions with TikTok Live and other campaigns.
Help recruit and train additional live hosts or moderators.
Identify cross-promotion opportunities with other Whatnot sellers and beauty brands.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing or hosting on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, or other live shopping platforms.
Strong customer service background — ability to communicate warmly, resolve issues fast, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience analyzing live-selling performance data and improving results.
Comfortable working with fast-moving teams, product launches, and live event coordination.
Passion for skincare, beauty, or wellness is a plus.
