This is a stable, full-time position with a company that understands and appreciates working with Filipino talent.


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to take full ownership of our digital presence and SEO strategy. You will be responsible for a single WordPress website focused exclusively on our company's national growth across the United States. This is a dedicated role where you will become an expert in our business and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and establish our brand authority on a national scale.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

National SEO Strategy & Implementation:**
• Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies for national-level organic visibility
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trends
• Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and technical SEO elements
• Monitor and improve search engine rankings for targeted national keywords
• Implement schema markup and structured data for enhanced search visibility

Google Business Profile Management:
• Set up and optimize our company's Google Business Profile for maximum visibility
• Use GBP as our primary platform for collecting, managing, and responding to customer reviews
• Optimize our profile to appear prominently when people search our company name
• Ensure accurate and compelling business information, photos, and updates
• Manage Q&A section and keep profile information current and engaging
• Implement strategies to increase review volume and maintain strong ratings
• Leverage GBP as a trust signal and credibility builder for our national brand

WordPress Website Optimization:
• Audit and optimize our WordPress website for technical SEO performance
• Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals scores
• Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, images, and content structure
• Implement and maintain SEO-friendly URL structures and site architecture
• Ensure proper indexation and crawlability across the entire website

Content Creation & Blog Management:
• Develop and maintain a content calendar focused on SEO-driven topics
• Write and/or oversee creation of SEO-optimized blog posts and web content
• Create content that targets informational, navigational, and transactional search intent
• Optimize existing content for improved rankings and user engagement
• Develop content clusters and pillar pages for topical authority

Reputation Management & Review Generation:
• Implement strategies to generate authentic customer reviews across multiple platforms
• Monitor and respond to reviews professionally and promptly
• Develop systems for consistent review acquisition from satisfied customers
• Address and manage negative feedback appropriately

Business Directory & Citation Management:
• Set up and optimize Better Business Bureau (BBB) profile
• Build consistent business information across high-authority national directories
• Ensure accurate business information across all online platforms
• Identify and pursue relevant national directory opportunities that support brand visibility

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO):
• Optimize content for voice search and AI-powered answer engines
• Structure content to appear in featured snippets and answer boxes
• Implement FAQ schema and Q&A formatted content
• Stay current with AI search trends and adapt strategies accordingly

Social Media Integration:
• Leverage social media platforms to support SEO efforts and drive traffic
• Develop social media content strategies that complement SEO goals
• Monitor social signals and their impact on search visibility
• Build and maintain social media profiles that reinforce brand presence

Analytics & Reporting:
• Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics and KPIs
• Use data to identify opportunities and refine strategies
• Provide regular reports on rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI
• Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO with demonstrable results
• REQUIRED: SEMrush certified/trained with advanced proficiency - this is our primary SEO tool**
• Must provide proof of SEMrush training, certification, or extensive hands-on experience**
• Expert-level knowledge of national SEO strategies and organic search optimization
• Deep understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Business Profile management
• Strong expertise in WordPress SEO optimization, plugins, and best practices
• Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, crawl optimization, and schema implementation
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts
• Proficiency in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies
• Experience working as a dedicated SEO specialist for a single company (preferred)

Tools & Platforms:
• REQUIRED: SEMrush (this is our primary tool - must be certified or extensively trained)**
• Required:** Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile Manager
• Preferred: Experience with supplementary tools like Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights
• WordPress plugins: Yoast SEO or Rank Math, site speed optimization tools
• Familiarity with social media management platforms
• Experience with review management platforms

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic
• Up-to-date knowledge of Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices
• Ability to dedicate full focus to a single company's SEO growth and success
• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating successful SEO campaigns
