About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Home Health Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and ensuring clinical documentation meets all state, federal, and payer requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and excellence in our home health operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review OASIS, Plan of Care, visit notes, and discharge summaries for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
2. Ensure that all documentation meets Medicare, state, and agency standards.
3. Provide QA feedback and education to clinicians on documentation best practices.
4. Track and resolve clinical documentation deficiencies promptly.
5. Collaborate with the clinical team to uphold quality standards and improve workflow processes.
6. Stay current with all CMS, state, and accreditation standards related to home health.
7. Support performance improvement and compliance audits as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Home Health Quality Assurance or clinical documentation review.
- Strong working knowledge of DSL (Data Submission Logic) and other OASIS/Medicare reporting systems.
- Active RN, LVN/LPN, or therapist license (preferred but not required).
- In-depth understanding of home health regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
