Finance Manager

About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team at Sequence Commerce. This role focuses on customer collections and financial operations support. You'll play a key role in maintaining our financial health by managing invoice processing and customer payment relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Collections & Customer Support (Primary Focus)

Provide Level 1 customer support for collection-related inquiries
Proactively reach out to customers regarding outstanding payments
Maintain professional relationships while ensuring timely collections
Follow up on overdue accounts and document all collection activities

Accounts Payable Management

- Accurately enter and process AP invoices in our accounting system
- Verify invoice details and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain organized records of all payables

Financial Operations (Nice to Have)

- Categorize daily bank transactions to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end reconciliation activities as needed

Qualifications

Required:

- Previous experience in finance, accounting, or collections
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and basic financial tools
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work

Preferred:

- Experience with accounts payable and collections processes
- Familiarity with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
- Customer service background
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
