JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there and welcome to this job post!

We’re looking to hire an EXPERIENCED Product Checker for our Shopify dropshipping stores.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a dropshipping company focused on the fashion and apparel industry — mainly clothing essentials like linen shirts, coats, and pants.
Since 2020, we’ve been selling to the U.S. market and managing a high volume of daily orders across multiple Shopify stores.

THE ROLE

Your job will be to verify and approve product listings before they go live.
You will be the final quality gate — ensuring each product page looks perfect, feels natural to a U.S. customer, and aligns with our brand tone and standards.

Main responsibilities:

Review all product listings before publishing to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and clean presentation.

Verify product images, pricing, descriptions, sizes, and variants.

Check supplier details on 1688 / Alibaba to confirm accuracy and prevent errors or overpricing.

Adjust or rewrite titles and copies to sound natural and appealing to the U.S. audience.

Use Canva, Photoshop, or AI tools to remove backgrounds, objects, or text when needed.

Identify and fix any visual or textual inconsistencies (e.g., wrong sizing info, low-quality images, missing color options, etc.).

Make sure the entire product page answers all the questions a U.S. customer might have — nothing confusing, nothing “off.”

Follow SOPs and Loom guides carefully, but also use common sense and market intuition when something looks wrong or off-brand.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have strong understanding of the U.S. clothing and fashion market — trends, prices, sizing standards, and what appeals to American customers.

Proven experience working with Shopify, 1688 (or Alibaba), and product listing processes.

Experience with design/editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or AI image editors (object removal, background clean-up, etc.).

Excellent English — able to spot grammatical issues or unnatural phrases in copy.

Detail-oriented and organized — you’ll be catching tiny errors before customers do.

Ability to think like a customer: “Would I buy this? Does this look trustworthy?”

Able to start immediately and work independently following SOPs.

NICE TO HAVE (BONUS)

Experience with U.S. fashion retail or merchandising.

Familiarity with product pricing strategy and margin calculations.

Understanding of Shopify SEO basics (titles, alt text, etc.).

Long-term interest in progressing into a Size & Stock Manager role.

IMPORTANT

This role is not repetitive data entry — every product is unique and requires judgment, awareness, and taste.
You’ll need to combine attention to detail with a sense of design and market alignment.

HOW TO APPLY

Please start your cover letter with the word “banana” so we know you actually read this post.
Include:

A short summary of your experience working with Shopify and 1688.

Examples of product pages or listings you’ve verified, edited, or created.

A note on what you believe makes a product page feel trustworthy and appealing to the U.S. market.

If you have a sharp eye for detail, a feel for the U.S. fashion market, and pride in clean, well-presented products — we’d love to hear from you.
