Business Analyst / Intern to the CEO

Role Summary

The Business Analyst / Intern to the CEO supports Surest Capital’s leadership by managing financial data, preparing reports and presentations, and maintaining structured operations across teams.
This position is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented individual seeking real-world experience in commercial finance, analytics, and executive operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial & Analytical:
• Build and maintain Excel and Google Sheets models for loan tracking and revenue projections.
• Calculate origination fees, servicing spreads, and performance metrics.
• Support the CEO with scenario modeling, market summaries, and trend analysis.
• Operations & CRM:
• Organize and clean CRM data for commercial loan leads.
• Prepare weekly pipeline and KPI reports.
• Coordinate project tracking and follow-ups in Google Suite or Airtable.
• Presentation & Communication:
• Develop visually clean decks for client, lender, and investor meetings.
• Summarize financial information clearly and concisely.
• Prepare talking points and supporting visuals for executive presentations.
• Administrative:
• Manage the CEO’s calendar and meeting logistics.
• Follow up with internal and external partners as directed.
• Contribute to improving workflows and internal documentation.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or senior undergraduate).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts, basic models).
• Skilled with Google Slides or PowerPoint for presentations.
• Excellent written English and professional communication.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Airtable, GoHighLevel).

Performance & Bonus Structure
- $5.00/hour base pay (min 25 hours/week)
- $300 quarterly performance bonus based on sales milestones and contribution to company growth
- Review and advancement opportunity after 180 days
