Focosme is a creative services agency specialising in sales, marketing, and events strategy for small and medium-sized Australian businesses across a range of sectors including sports, travel, hospitality, construction, education and charity sectors. We pride ourselves on being flexible, multi-disciplinary partners who fill organizational gaps for our clients. Our client roster includes sporting clubs, boutique hotels, charities, construction clients and B2B service providers across Australia.

The Role
We're seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our remote team on a part-time or even full-time basis depending on your skills. You will manage social media, video content, graphic design, and email marketing for multiple clients. You'll work across diverse industries including sports organisations, hospitality, and non-profits, creating engaging content that drives results.
This role requires someone who can work independently, show initiative, and deliver high-quality work across multiple clients simultaneously.

Core Responsibilities
Social Media Management (Primary Focus)
• Manage Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube accounts for multiple clients
• Write compelling copy and captions that align with brand voice
• Edit and optimize images for different platform specifications
• Research and implement effective hashtag strategies
• Schedule and post content according to content calendars
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as needed

Video Editing
• Create Instagram and Facebook Reels and Stories for organic and ads content
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro for more complex projects
• Stay current with social media trends and apply them to client content
• Optimise videos for engagement and platform algorithms

Graphic Design
• Design digital and print collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Create social media graphics, ads, and promotional materials using Canva
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets
• Prepare print-ready files when required


Email
Marketing
• Create email marketing content and campaigns
• Build and manage automation workflows in Mailchimp, Zoho, and ActiveCampaign
• Design email templates that are on-brand and conversion-focused
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize as needed

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or similar role
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media content, especially Reels/Stories (essential)
• Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously
• Experience with Canva for quick design turnarounds
• Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or Zoho)
• Strong copywriting skills with attention to grammar and brand voice
• Proficiency with AI tools including ChatGPT and Claude to create and work with custom GPTs for copywriting and planning
• Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Bonus Points For
• Experience working with sports, travel, or charity/non-profit clients
• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media analytics
• Experience with marketing automation workflows
• Familiarity with Notion for project management

Working Hours & Communication
• Standard hours: 9am-5pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
• Must be available for video calls at least twice weekly (Monday & Thursday) depending on workload
• Day-to-day communication via Notion comments and Google Chat
• Regular check-ins with the team to ensure alignment
