** About Mahogany Studios
Mahogany Studios is a growing start-up digital design studio, creating elegant planners, small-business templates, and event resources.
This is a greenfield opportunity — you’ll join at the ground level, helping shape our product catalogue, documentation systems, and social media presence as we prepare for a major Etsy launch.
We’re looking for a talented Virtual Assistant who’s creative, organised, and excited to grow alongside the brand.
** Your Responsibilities
Initially, prepare and document 100 new digital products ready for upload (using Canva Teams and our provided templates), with ongoing product development to follow.
Create mock-ups and listing graphics aligned with our brand kit and style guide.
Write clear, SEO-optimised titles, tags, and descriptions for Etsy listings.
Design and plan Pinterest and Instagram content for the upcoming launch and continued marketing.
Maintain detailed documentation of all processes, file paths, and naming conventions in OneDrive.
** About the Initial Trial
Your first project will focus on our Business Bundle, which includes multiple related templates and planners.
You’ll expand this into a full Etsy collection & social media posts — documenting workflows, variations, and pricing tiers.
This trial period will assess quality, fit, and documentation standards before moving into an ongoing part-time role.
** You’ll Succeed If You
Have proven experience with Etsy, Pinterest, and Canva-based content creation (all three required).
Experience with Instagram,
Familiarity with Notion or other documentation/project management tools (e.g. Trello, ClickUp, Asana) is highly desired.
Comfortable using social media scheduling tools such as Tailwind, Meta Business Suite, Later, or Canva’s Content Planner.
Communicate clearly in written English and maintain excellent documentation.
Have an eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency.
Are proactive, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Thrive in a start-up culture, enjoy solving problems, and like building systems from scratch.
** What We Offer
AUD $8–$9 per hour (? USD $5–$6), paid weekly via Wise or Payoneer.
15 hours per week to start, with the potential to grow into a full-time role in 2026.
Structured templates, clear expectations, and weekly feedback loops.
You’ll help shape our content scheduling process as we establish workflows using Tailwind and Canva’s Content Planner.
Growth opportunities – progress into Social Media Lead, Documentation Specialist, or Product Manager roles as the business expands.
Performance Bonus: A AUD 100 bonus will be awarded for completing the first 100 documented products to the required quality standard by 15 December 2025. We value quality output over speed — attention to detail, clear documentation, and well-designed listings are more important than rushing to meet deadlines. Additional bonuses are available for creativity, initiative, and consistent high-quality output.
** Success Milestones
