Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Legal Assistant (Jubilee BK) – Texas Cases

We’re a Texas law firm seeking a remote Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Legal Assistant who can take over after a client has retained and paid in full. You’ll run point on client intake, communication, and petition drafting in Jubilee BK, following our SOPs and timelines.

What you’ll do
• Conduct an onboarding call and complete our Intake Packet questionnaire with the client; collect all required documents per our checklist
• Be the client’s main point of contact and respond within 24 hours by email/text/phone
• Draft the full Chapter 7 petition in Jubilee BK (all Schedules, SOFA, Means Test, creditor matrix)
• Complete our Quality Control Checklist and resolve checklist items
• Deliver the finalized petition for attorney review and filing; prep trustee/341 materials as requested

Must-have experience
• Verifiable, hands-on U.S. Chapter 7 drafting (end-to-end)
• Jubilee BK proficiency (describe your exact workflow)
• Clear English (spoken/written) and professional phone presence
• Organized, checklist-driven, dependable with deadlines
• Ability to overlap at least 4 hours on U.S. Central Time (CT), Mon–Fri

Nice to have
• Familiarity with Texas districts (NDTX/EDTX/WDTX/SDTX) and trustee preferences
• Clio Manage + Google Workspace
