We are a U.S.-based real-money and free-to-play skill-based sports prediction platform launching soon. Eazy6 brings a fresh twist to mobile sports gaming — simple pick’em contests where players can win fixed cash prizes or gift cards by making correct predictions across their favorite sports.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a seasoned backend developer based in the Philippines to join our global development team. You’ll work closely with engineers in the Philippines and India to design, build, and scale the backend systems that power the Eazy6 mobile app.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants to help shape the infrastructure behind a mobile app that supports real-time gameplay, transactions, and user engagement.
What You’ll Do
• Develop, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs for the Eazy6 iOS mobile app.
• Collaborate with frontend and QA teams to deliver reliable, high-performance features.
• Design, optimize, and secure database schemas for scalability and performance.
• Build and integrate microservices for authentication, contests, leaderboards, and payments.
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, and error-handling systems for production reliability.
• Contribute to backend architecture design and help define coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ongoing system optimization.
What We’re Looking For
• 4+ years of backend development experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Databases, or related infrastructure).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Familiarity with payment systems, real-time data, or gaming logic is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a distributed remote team.
