Medical Biller

AFC Physical Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our administrative team. In this role, you’ll focus on managing the full revenue cycle for one of our Chiropractic / Physical Medicine Clinics. Medical Billing experience and Kareo/Tebra Experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Process, submit, and track medical claims using billing software.
Review and correct coding errors (e.g., CPT, ICD-10).
Communicate with insurance companies to follow up on denials and delays.
Respond to patient billing inquiries and assist with payment plans.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay up-to-date on changes in billing procedures and payer policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree is a plus.
Minimum of [e.g., 1-2] years of experience in medical billing or a related field.
Familiarity with medical coding and billing software is essential.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
