Hello,
We are an American company that teaches English to foreign students via Skype.
We are looking to hire several teachers on a part-time basis, leading up to full time.
Please closely review the following criteria for hiring.
You will need to address each of these items to be considered for hiring:
You:
1. Have a bachelor’s degree from a college.
2. Have a computer with Skype, a headset, and a webcam.
3. Have some experience teaching English.
4. Ideally can work a swing shift - potentiallly overnight.
This is not a necessity, but will be prioritized.
5. Currently have a fast internet connection.
6. Will agree to answering emails/Skype/phone calls from our home office during business hours.
In other words, you are “on call” most working days, and are willing to call us back within an hour if we don’t reach you.
7. Have an “American style” accent
8. Are very motivated, work hard, are a problem solver.
9. Are willing to work for $2/US per hour.
10. Are willing to complete a TEFL (English teacher) course.
This will help you learn to teach English better, and open doors for you down the road.
11. Are willing to create simple, custom lesson plans for students - this requires doing your own research (which you will be paid for).
