JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a multi-talented creative who can turn raw photos and videos into emotionally engaging stories. You’ll be working closely with a U.S.-based creative facilitator who produces art-based workshops and experiential content. Your job is to bring the visual narrative to life — combining music, pacing, captions, and storytelling to create compelling, shareable moments across platforms.

This is not a “clip cutter” role — it’s for someone who thinks in story arcs, understands audience psychology, and knows how to make one piece of content work on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and websites.

Responsibilities

Edit raw photo and video content into cohesive, story-driven pieces (reels, shorts, montages, testimonials, highlight reels, etc.)
Add captions, transitions, and licensed music that fit the tone and pacing of each story
Create multiple versions of the same story for different platforms (portrait vs landscape, short vs long form)
Design thumbnail and post graphics when needed (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent)
Repurpose content strategically across channels (e.g. turning a long video into multiple short reels)
Build a consistent visual language and narrative voice across projects
Work with existing templates and help create new ones for repeatable workflows
Manage assets, file organization, and delivery to keep projects moving smoothly
Stay up to date with current social media trends and storytelling formats

Qualifications

Proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve)
Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
Strong sense of story structure, pacing, rhythm, and emotional arc
Comfortable adding captions, music, and sound effects for maximum impact
Good visual eye for composition, light, and color
Strong English comprehension — able to understand nuance, tone, and timing
Highly organized with strong file-management and communication habits
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Bonus Skills
Experience with Canva or Photoshop for quick graphic design
Experience with AI tools for content generation, captioning, or idea expansion
Understanding of SEO and basic analytics for video performance
