About Us

Full Volume Music builds online merch stores and creates digital content for independent rock and alternative bands.
We design the merch, run the stores, and help bands grow through creative storytelling across social media.

We’re looking for a creative virtual assistant who’s passionate about music, content creation, and the behind-the-scenes process that helps artists build their fanbase.
If you love making videos, organizing content calendars, and working in a fast-moving, music-driven environment — this is your spot.

You’ll work directly with the founder and our art director intern to turn band footage, promo ideas, and scripts into great-looking, high-energy content that helps artists stand out online.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation

Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) using band footage + script direction

Write short, engaging scripts and captions that match each band’s tone and audience

Create dynamic graphics and still-image posts (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)

Stay up on the latest music and social media trends to pitch fresh content ideas and formats

Add captions, lyrics, and hooks that make posts feel alive

Keep content visually consistent with each band’s aesthetic

Collaborate with the founder and art director intern on creative ideas for releases and promo campaigns

Scheduling & Coordination

Upload and schedule content using Metricool

Manage post calendars for multiple bands

Track what’s done, what’s scheduled, and what needs review in Airtable or Sheets

Communicate clearly with the team when assets are missing or updates are needed

VA & Support Tasks

Help with small operational items (e.g., upload lyrics to DistroKid, submit Spotify claims, organize Drive folders)

Light customer service or communications following pre-written templates

Assist with repetitive or admin-type work that supports the creative process

What You’ll Need

Strong written English and communication

Experience editing vertical short-form videos (CapCut, InShot, VN, or similar)

Familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)

Basic understanding of Metricool or other scheduling tools

Good sense of timing, storytelling, and rhythm (bonus if you’re into rock or alternative)

Reliable internet connection and organized work habits

Must have 3–4 hours overlap with 10AM–5PM Eastern Time

Bonus Skills:

Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or After Effects

Shopify or e-commerce familiarity

Music background (playing, performing, or just obsessively into it)

Why This Role Rocks

Work directly with the founder and art director intern on creative production

Creative freedom with real impact (your edits get published to thousands of fans)

Opportunity to grow into a Creative Content Manager role as the brand scales

Stable, long-term opportunity in a music-centric environment

Flexible schedule + consistent workflow

How to Apply

Send:

A short intro about you — what kind of content you love creating

A few examples (Drive links or social posts) of Reels, TikToks, or designs you’ve made

Your experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Metricool, and Google Drive

When you’re typically online (local time + overlap with Eastern Time)

Your expected hourly rate

(Optional) Your favorite band or artist ????
