Long-Form Video Editor (SEO & YouTube Specialist)

Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Long-Form Video Editor with strong English proficiency, exceptional storytelling capabilities, and extensive experience with YouTube SEO and best practices. Your primary focus will be crafting engaging, cinematic, and optimized videos designed specifically to enhance audience retention and visibility on YouTube.

Responsibilities:
*Edit engaging long-form YouTube videos with an appealing, cinematic aesthetic.
*Expertly optimize videos for YouTube SEO, including effective keyword use, proper tagging, compelling titles, and engaging thumbnails.
*Apply storytelling techniques to maximize viewer retention and enhance overall video performance.
*Collaborate closely with content creators and producers to ensure content aligns seamlessly with brand voice and strategy.
*Efficiently manage footage, audio files, graphics, and project materials.
*Stay informed about current YouTube algorithm updates, SEO strategies, and trends and recommend videos monthly for max engagement and growth.
*Provide ongoing creative input to elevate video quality and audience engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
*Proven track record editing successful long-form YouTube content.
*Extensive experience and deep understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and platform-specific best practices.
*Exceptional storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetic capabilities.
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
*Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
*1-2 hours per day minimum of 2 days a week in EST
*Availability to edit anywhere from 15 mins - 2 hours of content a week.
