UI/UX Designer - German LifeWallet Mobile App (Part-Time)

About the Project:
We're building LifeWallet - a secure digital vault for life-critical documents targeting the German market. Think of it as a highly secure, intelligent document safe that helps users manage everything from contracts to emergency access for loved ones.

Project Scope:
Starting with 2 milestones over 3-6 months. Part-time engagement with potential for continuation based on project success.
What You'll Design:

Milestone 1 - Secure Document Vault (MVP):
-Onboarding flow that builds trust
-Authentication screens (login, 2FA setup)
-Document upload/download interface
-Basic document viewer
-Visual identity that conveys security & reliability

Milestone 2 - Smart Vault:
-Document organization UI (tags, metadata, search, filters)
-Template library browsing
-Document editing/fill-in interfaces
-Signature capture flow
-Manual reminder settings
-Offline mode indicators

Requirements:

Must Have:
-3+ years UI/UX design experience
-Mobile app design portfolio (iOS & Android)
-Proficiency in Figma
-Understanding of mobile design patterns
-Component-based design systems
-Fluent English communication (C1/C2)

Nice to Have:
-Experience with security/fintech/document management apps
-German language skills or German market knowledge
-Understanding of GDPR/privacy-focused design
-Experience with accessibility standards
-Illustration or icon design skills

What You'll Deliver:
-High-fidelity mockups for all screens
-Design system & component library
-Interactive prototypes for key flows
-Icon set & basic illustrations
-Developer handoff specifications
-Style guide

Working Arrangement:
-Duration: 3-6 months (2 milestones initially)
-Hours: 10-15 hours/week (flexible)
-Work Setup: 100% remote
-Collaboration: Mobile developer, backend engineer, QA team
-Time Zone: Flexible, occasional sync with CET (Germany) appreciated

Compensation:
-Milestone-based payment
-Rate: Based on experience (10-15 USD/h)
