Position Overview

Scioto Valley Packaging is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appointment Scheduler to join our growing team. This role involves reaching out to potential customers from a provided lead list, introducing our products and services, and scheduling appointments for those interested in learning more or purchasing. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, organized, and capable of building initial interest through professional and friendly communication.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to cold and warm leads to introduce company products and services.

Engage prospects in conversation to identify needs and interest levels.

Schedule appointments for qualified leads with the sales team.

Accurately record call outcomes, lead details, and appointment times in CRM or tracking software.

Follow up with potential leads who expressed interest but have not yet scheduled an appointment.

Maintain daily and weekly call and appointment goals.

Represent the company professionally and positively in all interactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable making outbound cold calls and handling objections.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Basic computer skills; familiarity with CRM or lead-tracking software is a plus.

Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently.
