OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a full-time, highly skilled Video Editor specialising in DaVinci Resolve to join a YouTube and studio content production team. This role requires advanced editing ability, strong creative judgement, and confidence managing edits end-to-end without micromanagement.

You will work on long-form YouTube content and multi-camera studio projects, applying storytelling and pacing best practices to maximise viewer retention. You will also generate multiple format exports for social and ads, run finishing and QC checks, and maintain tidy project structures across L ---------- and ---------- .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Long-form & multi-cam editing

-Edit long-form YouTube videos and multi-camera studio content using DaVinci Resolve.

-Cut for retention: strong hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, narrative clarity.

-Short-form & ad asset outputs

-Export multiple aspect ratios: 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16.

-Produce quick cutdowns (6 / 15 / 30 / 60 sec) with correct CTAs and safe-zone awareness.

-Finishing, delivery & QC

-Own finishing stage: dialogue cleanup, audio mix to platform norms, colour grading, captions/SRTs.

-Run a simple QC checklist before delivery (audio levels, spelling, export settings, metadata, flashes).

-Project and feedback management

-Manage feedback loops through ---------- and communicate progress proactively.

-Keep L ---------- and shared storage tidy: proxies, relinks, versioning.

-Creative collaboration

-Integrate motion graphics, transitions, and text treatments when needed.

-Stay across music/SFX licensing requirements and ensure only approved assets are used.

-Communicate clearly with producers and suggest creative improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Proven experience editing YouTube or commercial video content.
-Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (non-negotiable).
-Strong capability with complex multi-cam edits.
-Able to cut for retention and apply YouTube storytelling best practices.
-Excellent communication and ability to interpret and action feedback.
-Strong time management and attention to detail.
-Reliable equipment and fast stable internet.
-Comfortable working independently and without micromanagement.
