JOB OVERVIEW

THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor with proven experience creating video sales letters (VSLs), advertorial-style videos, and direct-response creatives. Your work will be a key driver of performance in our marketing funnels, turning scripts and raw footage into persuasive, conversion-focused video assets.

This is not a generic editing role. We need someone who understands performance marketing, how to structure VSLs, and how to edit videos that hold attention, build trust, and drive viewers to take action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit high-converting VSLs, advertorial videos, and sales creatives for multiple brands and products.
- Collaborate with copywriters, media buyers, and designers to align video with funnel strategy.
- Structure videos for maximum impact (hook, storytelling, objection-handling, call to action).
- Create multiple variations of edits for A/B testing and continuous optimization.
- Use competitive research tools to analyze successful VSLs and creatives and adapt winning approaches.
- Source and integrate stock footage, animations, subtitles, and effects where needed.
- Optimize videos for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, native, display).
- Continuously improve video performance based on data and feedback.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years proven experience editing videos for direct-response marketing (VSLs, ads, funnels).
- Strong portfolio of VSLs or sales-driven video content.
- Skilled with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar).
- Understanding of direct-response marketing and conversion psychology.
- Ability to turn scripts into engaging visual narratives that sell.
- Comfortable creating subtitles, text overlays, and engaging visual effects.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- A reliable home-office setup with a computer, fast and stable internet connection, webcam, and headset.
- Availability to work during Central European Standard Time (CEST) hours.
- Good written English skills (for aligning copy with visuals and proofreading subtitles).

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience editing in health, wellness, supplements, or consumer product categories.
- Motion graphics or animation experience.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) models.
- Ability to work with multiple languages (with translator support).
- Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven creative optimization.
- Experience using AI tools such as Sora 2, Runway, or similar for editing or creative enhancement.
