About Us

Braid Miracle is a fast-growing, women-led beauty brand dedicated to making the braiding experience better for everyone. We create clean, innovative hair care products designed specifically for people who wear braids and protective styles. Our products are sold online ( ---------- , Amazon, Walmart) and through retail partners across the U.S.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help with marketing, communication, and administrative tasks. You’ll work directly with our founder to support content creation, lead generation, outreach, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

???? Weekly Newsletters

Write or edit engaging copy for newsletters (using past content as inspiration)

Schedule and send emails using Squarespace Email Campaigns

Design layouts (basic Canva or design skills are a plus)


???? Social Media

Schedule and publish posts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok

Write short, clear, and brand-aligned captions

Edit simple videos and graphics (experience with CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Express is a plus)

Track engagement and suggest improvements


???? Cold Calling & Sales Support

Call potential retail partners, salons, and distributors (scripts provided)

Collect contact details and follow up via email

Log call notes and outcomes in a shared database


???? Customer Communication

Respond to customer and partner emails with professionalism and warmth

Manage inboxes and escalate important issues when needed


???? Admin & Research

Enter data accurately in spreadsheets or CRM systems

Compile and update lead lists

Research salons, retailers, or grant opportunities

Assist with grant writing or drafts (AI tools can be used with guidance)


???? Use of AI

Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to draft emails, generate ideas, or speed up tasks

Must know how to fact-check and refine AI-generated output


Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English

Strong attention to detail and organization

Experience in marketing, admin, or social media management

Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Klaviyo/Mailchimp, and Notion (training provided)

Confident on the phone (for cold calls)

Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

Graphic design or video editing

Experience writing newsletters or blog content

Background in eCommerce or beauty industry

Grant writing experience
