Social Media Manager (Posting + Community)

We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to keep our brand active across short-form platforms and handle light community engagement. If you love fast posting cycles, clean captions, and tight execution, this is for you.

Role Overview:

Content Posting (80%)
- Post daily across: YouTube Shorts, TikTok (+ TikTok Shop), Instagram, Facebook, X, and Reddit.
- Write short captions, add on-screen text, timestamps, tags, and end screens.
- Maintain a posting calendar and follow brand voice.

Lead Gen & Replies (10%)
- Reply to comments/DMs with approved scripts.
- Route qualified leads and customer questions to the team.

Ideas & Light Edits (10%)
- Suggest hooks, title variants, and thumbnail text. (will also be using ai and access to ai for this)
- Do basic edits only: trim, remove dead space, add music/captions/filters.

Tools & Workflow
- Work on VPN (provided)
- Platforms: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit
- Stack: Google Drive, Sheets, Slack, CapCut or Captions (or similar)

Schedule
- Near Full-time (20-30 hrs/week)
- Must work with US Eastern Time (ET), Mon–Fri (Sat/Sun flexibility is a plus)

Minimum Requirements
- Experience posting on at least 2 of the listed platforms
- Basic video editing: add music, captions, filters, and cut blank space
- Strong written English; fast and clean execution
- Reliable computer, stable internet (min 25 Mbps), and a *backup plan* is necessary unless planned outtage/out of office
- Comfortable following a brand voice and SOPs
- High attention to detail and deadlines

Nice to Have
- TikTok Shop experience
- Reddit posting familiarity
- Thumbnail text writing
- Simple Canva/Photoshop skills
- Experience with e-commerce brands

KPIs You’ll Own
- On-time post rate
- Zero-error uploads (titles, tags, links)
- Calendar adherence
- Response time on comments/DMs within SLA
- Basic lead captures routed correctly

Compensation & Perks
- $4-6 USD / Hour (depending on experience)
- 13th-month pay
