Role Summary:

We’re seeking a TOP-TIER, PRO LEVEL, creative, and strategic Video Editor to join our team.

This is not just about cutting footage, it’s about creating thumb-stopping, high-converting ad content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

You’ll be responsible for strategizing, executing ad campaigns, repurposing long-form content (like YouTube videos) into engaging short-form assets, and keeping our brand ahead of the curve in social media trends.

Responsibilities:

Strategize and plan short-form video ad content from concept to final delivery.
Review long-form content (e.g., YouTube videos, podcasts) and identify powerful clips, hooks, and narratives.
Edit engaging, high-conversion ads for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Consistently identify and incorporate current social media trends, formats, audio styles, and ---------- culture into content.
Develop and test different versions of ads (A/B hooks, captions, CTAs, pacing) to optimize performance.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to translate campaign goals into visuals that resonate with the target audience.
Source and integrate relevant UGC, B-roll, motion graphics, captions, and SFX that elevate content.
Keep a close eye on ad performance metrics to inform future editing strategies.
Requirements: (IN PERSON AT OUR COMPANY OFFICE)

Proven experience editing direct-response-style ads for paid social (please include a portfolio).
Deep understanding of what makes a scroll-stopping hook and a converting video.
Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects or motion graphics a plus).
Strong grasp of narrative pacing, visual storytelling, and performance optimization.
Ability to turn around edits quickly without sacrificing quality.
Passionate about social media trends and understands how content behaves differently across platforms.
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
Self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Bonus Points:

Experience in the fitness, wellness, or consumer product industry.
Ability to write or refine scripts, captions, or hooks.
Familiarity with analytics tools and paid ad performance reporting.
Background in creative direction or content strategy.
