Video Editor VA – Create Viral Social Media Content (EST Hours | Long-Term)

Remote | Real Estate + Lifestyle + Agent Education Content | 15–20 hrs/week to Start

We’re looking for a skilled video editor to help us turn long-form YouTube videos into viral short-form content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll be editing videos from two growing YouTube channels, one focused on real estate and lifestyle content, and one focused on real estate agent education.

Hours & Pay:
Availability required: Must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours (between 8 AM–5 PM)
Starting rate: $5 - $9 per video
Pay method: Weekly via Wise

Responsibilities:
Repurpose long-form video content into engaging short-form clips (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Add captions, zooms, jump cuts, trending audio, transitions, and viral pacing
Research weekly trends we can recreate (hooks, sounds, formats)
Create simple thumbnails for Shorts when needed
Stay organized using Slack and Google Drive for communication and file management

Requirements:
Portfolio of short-form video edits (must submit samples)
Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts trends
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong attention to detail, meets deadlines, organized
Reliable internet and editing setup
Comfortable using Slack daily
