Link Acquisition Specialist (Full-time - Remote)

Are you a skilled link builder in the Philippines that specialises in building backlinks (either guest posts, niche edits, broken links, link baiting, expired domains, citations & community engagement?). Important: Must be able to determine if traffic from a website is real or fake

What do the job look like:

- Build high quality backlinks via manual outreach
- Sift through link opportunities on Marketplaces
- Build Guest Post backlinks
- Build Broken Backlinks
- Build Expired domains
- Build Links on several high quality internally owned websites
- Drop links in clever ways on UGC websites (Reddit, Quora, Blogs, Forums, etc)


The absolute essentials:
- Understand what a good link is
- How to spot fake keywords and spammy domains
- Understand which links will actually drive growth
- Understand how to vary anchor texts
- Spot trash websites that will not assist rankings growth (such as generic all-category type sites or link farms)
- Understand how to formulate an article which the link blends in
- Understanding how to assess keywords ranking in Ahrefs and the incoming/outgoing link ratios
- Have a strong understanding of the different types of links
- Must provide a list of previously acquired links and be able to explain why those links and anchor texts were chosen

Above points are the most important and I want to see you put emphasis on how you do this...

Other skills:
- Use industry standard tools such as Ahrefs
- Work in Google Sheets and Notion
- Create content necessary for links
- Use tools such as Snovio & Hunter to prospect
- Good understanding of correct anchor text usage
- Use AI to assist in optimisation and analysis
- Perform internal linking & external linking on the pages
- Keyword research
- Finding keyword and content opportunities
- Documenting all completed work in a spreadsheet


The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a driven individual with:

Experience: 1.5–2+ years of hands-on SEO experience minimum, but more is better so long as the experience is relevant getting the right type of links.
- Must have grown a website in organic traffic and keyword rankings with the links they have built
- Understand which metrics to target
- Can show examples of high quality links built in the past
- Understand several different strategies that can be used
- Resilience: Tenacious, quick on your feet, and comfortable with challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong and clear English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You’ll use these across emails, phone calls, and video calls.

Tools You’ll Use
You should be comfortable working with tools such as:


- Ahrefs
- ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini
- ---------- or ----------
- Link Marketplaces
- Notion
- Linkedin / Zoominfo
- Google Sheets/Docs/Slides/Chat

Bonus if you understand:

- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Google Looker Studio
- Screaming Frog
- Neuronwriter or content optimisation tools
- All other facets of SEO (e.g. Local, national, technical, content, etc)

Requirements:

- Time weekly: 40 hours
- Location: Based in the Philippines, working remotely.
- Availability: Comfortable working in alignment with Australian business hours AEDT Time (Starting approx a few hours early around 7am and finishing early approx 3:30pm local time)
- Language Proficiency: Strong English skills are non-negotiable.
- Time Tracking: Yes to manage time spent on various clients campaigns
